Many senior communities have temporarily paused visiting hours due to the COVID-19 outbreak. While families are practicing social distancing, know that you can rely on us to provide quality care during this difficult time. We hope that visiting hours re-open again soon to allow families to reconnect, but until then be sure to utilize technology to connect weekly. If you’re still feeling uncertain, we’ve compiled a list of reasons why you can count on us during this crisis. We’re trusted experts We’re the trusted experts in all things memory care throughout the entire Wasatch Front. Our friendly staff has the tools to assist your loved one with essential daily activities like medication management, bathing, dressing and regular meal times. If it’s unsafe to connect with other residents or family members, we promise to make sure your loved one sticks to a healthy routine. We can also keep tabs on your loved one through the Phillips Cares System and its real-time location management feature. You’ll be able to log on through our portal at any time to view your loved one’s health status and daily physical activity, easing any anxious feelings you may have. Comfortable amenities Our amenities encourage comfortable and worry-free living. Each of our 51 studio and one-bedroom apartments gives your loved one the space they need to grow and develop their passions. In case of emergency, your loved one receives everything they’ll need including community laundry services, three chef-prepared meals per day and weekly linen services. If your loved one needs special care, many of our apartments have ADA compliant bathrooms and 10-foot ceilings, fostering an environment for independence. If your loved one is prone to falls during the nighttime hours, our environmental lighting feature will help your loved one navigate the walk to the bathroom or kitchen. Attention to cleanliness We perform regular maintenance and sanitization checks throughout our entire community to ensure your loved one is in a safe environment free from sickness or other hazards. Our expert team of caregivers takes extra precautions to make sure they are washing their hands often and wiping down countertops, cell phones and door handles. Construction on our brand new community is wrapping up quickly and we’re excited to introduce our brand new studio and one-bedroom apartment designs that will be available for move-in this March! These gorgeous designs include luxurious amenities like a full-sized fridge and granite countertops. Some of our favorite features include: Environmental lighting Our motion activated environmental lighting technology creates a soft amber rope lighting accent around doors during nighttime hours. This helps with spatial orientation and increases perceptual cues to help better identify walking pathways and drastically reduce falls. Never fall victim to dimly lit pathways again! Note: this feature is also available in our memory care apartments. Private patio spaces Enjoy your own private patio space to bask in the sunlight, catch up on some reading and water your favorite house plant! This is the perfect place for alone time to help recharge after a busy day interacting with friends and family members. If you like to host parties, utilize this space to plan your next summer BBQ with delicious appetizers, top-of-the-line grilling and entertaining card games. Note: the private patio feature is available in most of our studio apartment plans. Walk-in closets Sick of cramming all of your clothes into a tiny closet? We offer you enough space to comfortably store your clothing, shoes and bags with room to spare! When you head into your closet to pick your outfit for the day, you’ll feel a sense of calm because you’ll be able to view and easily access important items instead of having to dig through drawers, hard-to-reach shelves and laundry baskets.
